Wikkid Resort is Jill's base for diving and sailing on Roatan. The boutique resort sits in peaceful Dixon Cove at Las Palmas, on the island's south side, about five minutes from the airport and ferry terminal.
The card sums it up: stay, sail, dive, drink, eat. There are five places to stay (three resort rooms, a bungalow and a penthouse), a pool, and the Wikkid Bar & Grill at the end of the dock, with all inclusive or breakfast and dinner plans. Wikkid Divers is a PADI Five Star dive center, and its two 50 foot Voyage catamarans double as dive boats and run day sails and charters to the Bay Islands with Ecologic Adventures.
Roatan's best known dive site, Mary's Place, is about ten minutes away by boat.

- Driving in? Turn into Las Palmas Resort and tell the guard at the gate you are going to Wikkid.
- Catamaran dive trips need at least four divers; otherwise the dive center uses its standard dive boat.
- With only five units at the resort, book your stay early.
